UI and Polish


This week I worked on improving the UI and started to polish the game. For the UI I worked on creating a difficulty selection, created a second path route, and fixed up the UI problems. To polish the game I worked camera processing, camera effects, and implementing the recommendation and feedback from testing.


The difficulty selection screen consists of three base modes, easy, medium, and hard, and a secret difficulty which is a 'Lindsay' or god mode. From feedback I improved the feedback for the selection 

The camera processing that I added was shadow around the edges of the screen and a slight amount of bloom on the screen. For camera effects I create a slow fade to blue over the course of the battle and a flash of red when a card can not be play when it is tried to be played. The card feedback idea was suggested from the testing feedback and simply shifts the battles scene to be a hotter temperature.
